At the opening of the event “Art for All: Overcoming Limitations” on 10 July 2014, ESCAP highlighted the importance the Incheon Strategy can play for children with disabilities. The event was attended by 600 children with and without disabilities as well as participants from Thailand and most other ASEAN countries, and aimed at promoting understanding of disability issues and young people. Support at the event was provided by the Ministry of Culture of Thailand and awards were presented to representatives of public and private organizations which advocated for inclusion of person with disabilities on their operations. The opening ceremony was held at the National Theatre, Bangkok and the art camp will be held in Nakorn Ratchasima province from 10-14 July 2014.
